Violet L. Taylor

Violet L. Taylor, age 96, a longtime Menominee, MI resident, passed away December 27, 2025 at Country Villa Assisted Living in Freedom, WI where she resided to be near her daughter, Merry. She was born November 30, 1929 in Coleman and married to Duncan Taylor of Peshtigo who preceded her in death. Violet had resided on 10th Avenue in Menominee nearly all of her life and had been a proud employee of the former Scott Paper Co. in Marinette for 18 years. She enjoyed tending her yard and flowers and especially cherished visits from her grandchildren.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Merry (James) Blazer of Fremont, WI; her son, Michael (Susan) Taylor of Menominee, MI; three grandsons, Bradley Blazer of San Diego, CA, Adam (Katy) Blazer of Hortonville, WI and Ross Blazer of New London, WI; along with two great-grandchildren, Adam and Katy's children, Riley and Wyatt.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brent Blazer.
A private family burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in the spring.
She will be dearly missed.
