Violette Kaseman

Violette Kaseman, 88, of Wishek, ND, entered into eternal rest on August 4th, surrounded by her loving family at the Wishek Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Wishek. Visitation will be held Monday, August 11, 2025, from 6:00 – 7:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Feist Funeral Home, Wishek. Burial will take place at St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery. Violette June (Schock) Kaseman was born on June 2, 1937, to Edward and Rosina (Eiseman) Schock in rural Burnstad, North Dakota. She was raised on the family farm and attended a nearby country school. Later, she moved to Wishek, where she worked at Herr Mercantile. It was in Wishek that she met Howard Kaseman, and the two were married on November 26, 1960. They made their home on the Kaseman family farm southwest of Wishek, where they milked cows and raised small grains. Together, they built a life rooted in hard work and family, raising three children: Bruce, Mike, and Missy. Violette had a passion for crocheting and embroidery, and she was undoubtedly the biggest cheerleader for her six grandsons. She adored them deeply and rarely missed a game or match, whether it was football, basketball, or wrestling, she was there in the stands. In her later years, her great-granddaughters brought a new kind of joy to her life. It brought her so much delight and a touch of amusement that every one of them turned out to be sweet little girls she absolutely loved spending time with. Violette will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, dedication to family, and unwavering support left a lasting impact on everyone, fortunate enough to be part of her life. Violette is survived by her children, Bruce (June) Kaseman, Wishek, Micheal (Mirta) Kaseman, Wellington, CO, and Melissa (Nathan) Wolf, Wishek; six grandsons, Corey (Jasmyne) Ulmer, Jared (Hannah) Kaseman, Kristopher Kaseman, and Lane, Hunter and Seth Wolf; four great granddaughters, Riley, Blake and Kensley Ulmer, and Hadley Kaseman; two sisters, Shirley (Alphonse) Stockert, Bismarck, and Viola Anderson, TN; two sisters-in-law, Laverna Kaseman, Wishek, and Erna Tallman, Fargo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kaseman; her parents, Edward and Rosina Schock; in-laws, Edward and Christina Kaseman; brothers-in-law, Gordon Anderson, Edward (Alice) Kaseman, Adam (Lorraine) Kaseman, Marvin (Shirley) Kaseman, Art (Gertrude) Kaseman and Clifton Kaseman; and sister-in-law, Leona Kaseman.
