Virgil-Ann Trias Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCune Garden Chapel on Dec. 12, 2025.
Virgil-Ann, also known as "Gie," was born on May 24, 1976, at Cubi Point Naval Hospital in Bataan, Philippines. She was the beloved youngest of three children, welcomed into the world by her parents, Manuela Colisao Hilario and Cecilius Pagaduan Hilario.
In 1979, she moved with her family to the United States, settling first in San Diego, California, before making their home in Vallejo the following year. She attended Loma Vista Elementary School, St. Basil's Middle School, and later St. Patrick–St. Vincent High School, proudly graduating with the Class of 1994. She earned her bachelor's degree in Telecommunications in 2000 from DeVry University in Pomona, California. She held numerous positions in the field of IT and, in recent years, dedicated her talents to serving the State of California.
In 2006, she married the love of her life, Arnold Trias. When Ayden was born in 2003, her world instantly became bigger, brighter, and more meaningful. She devoted herself completely to him-celebrating every milestone, guiding every step, and pouring her whole heart into being his mother.
Her happiest moments were spent simply being with the people she loved. She found joy in crafting and baking, attending concerts and comedy shows, enjoying mani-pedis with the girls, and exploring new places through travel, camping, and wine tasting. She loved the rhythm of island reggae, watching romantic comedies, and the magic of Broadway. As a true Bay Area fan, she loved the Warriors and the 49ers.
To her family and friends, she was so much more than a daughter, wife, mother, or friend. She was the tech expert, the problem-solver, and the thoughtful planner behind every trip and celebration. She made life easier, brighter, and more beautiful for everyone lucky enough to know her. She had a gift for bringing order and beauty to the world; everything had its place, and her themed gatherings reflected the care she poured into every detail.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold; her son, Ayden; her stepson, Andrew; her parents, Cecilius and Manuela Hilario; her siblings, April (Luis) and Cecil III (Michelle); her nieces and nephews, Joelle (Hazelle), Mikayla, Antonio, Nikolas, Ignacio, Jacob, and Elayna; and her grand-nephew, Kaizen.
Virgil-Ann passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Kaiser Permanente in Vacaville.
