He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold Frederick Baker, Edna Mae Johnson and sister Dorene Bryant.
He is survived by his wife Lynee' Baker, and children Virgil Baker Jr. Candice Baker and stepchildren, Danielle Tate, Eugene Tate, and siblings Jeanne Baker, Arnold Baker Jr, Donald Baker, Esther Baker, Sebrina Baker. And a host of Nieces and Nephews and grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be held at 11AM, January 30th 2026, at True Vine Church 2639 Thomas Ave No.

Rest in peace Virgil. You had a big heart and good wisdom to share. Im glad you told me your favorite cake was german chocolate and I was excited to make it for you for your birthday. My sincere condolences to your family.
