Virgil Grewe Obituary
Virgil Fred Grewe, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather peacefully departed this world on his 85th birthday, August 19, 2025.
Virgil is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carol, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, dedication, and adventure. Virgil was the proud father of 5 children, Dennis (Debbie), Scott (Maria), Amy (Rich), Kim, and Heather (Tim). His love extended to his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Virgil taught those around him the value of hard work, independence, loving your family and home through dedication, effort and loyalty.
A private family service will be held to honor Virgil's life.

We were very saddened to learn of Virgil´s passing. He and our dad had such good times together. It does give some comfort knowing that they are hanging out together again, and am grateful that mom will also be there to keep them in line. Prayers for Carol and those he´s left behind.

I am so sorry to have read this in the Daily Herald today. I feel so sad for Carol and all the family. We were friends since High School Days. So many fun times together.
