Virginia Chagnot Obituary

Published by Legacy on Apr. 6, 2024.
Virginia "Jenny" Chagnot, 70, of Leavittsburg, Ohio passed on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Warren, Ohio on October 12, 1953, the daughter of Dewey and Chloe Ann Long Logan.
She was a 1972 graduate of Labrae High School. Upon building a lasting friendship, Virginia and Edward Chagnot were united in marriage on May 31, 1980.
As a homemaker, Virginia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the time that she spent with her grandchildren, was a fan of Elvis music, played the Ohio Lottery, and was a Royal Family watcher. Virginia had made many trips to New York City and one of the highlights was attending the David Letterman show. Jenny and Ed would often meet friends at their favorite place in Leavittsburg. With cooking lessons learned from her Aunt Carol, there was little reason for the family eating out, since Jenny was a great cook.
Cherished memories of Jenny will be carried on by her loving husband, Edward Chagnot of Leavittsburg, Ohio; her daughters, Jessica (Terry) Bostardi of Braceville, Ohio, and Sarah (Mark) Basinger of Champion, Ohio; her grandchildren, Sydney (Sam) Cremeans affectionately called "Sinnie Von Winnie" by her grandma, and Van and Bri Basinger; her brother, Arthur (Theresa) Logan of Newton Falls, Ohio and her nieces.
LET THE RECORD SHOW – "I DID IT MY WAY."
