Virginia Rose Collins

Virginia "Jenny" Rose (Zachary) Collins, born May 4, 1951 – age 74 of Corryton, was welcomed into her Heavenly home, Wednesday, August 6, 2025. She was a dedicated member of and beloved teacher of the Children's Sunday School Class at Powder Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by father and mother, Clay and Anglee Zachary; brothers, Donald Ray Zachary, Harley Acuff, James (Glenda) Zachary, Gene Zachary, and Coy Zachary; sister, Evelyn Galyon; and nephew, Donnie Atkins.
She is survived by husband, Charles Collins; son, Travis Collins; daughter, Stacy (David) Wood; granddaughter, Audrey Wood; grandsons, Mack Wood and Clay Wood; sisters, Mary Zachary, and Diane Atkins; brother, Robert Zachary; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, with a funeral service to follow at 8 p.m., Rev. Darrell Williams and Rev. Stephen Branscomb officiating, music by the Williams family. Interment service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Cherry Orchard Cemetery, Powder Springs. Pallbearers will be Keith Buckner, David Wood, Mack Wood, Clay Wood, Dustin Buckner, and Micheal Inklebarger. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
