Virginia Damron Obituary
Virginia Sue Damron, Age 69, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the Pikeville Nursing and rehab facility. Virginia was born on August 30, 1956, to the late Hatler Eugene and Dorothy Helen Ray Sexton.
Virginia had a zeal for life, there was never a time of meeting her, or running into her where she didn't have a smile on her face, she brightened many people's days. Virginia was a devout Christian, and a member of the Owsley Church of God in Jesus Name, she loved the Lord with her whole heart and was always ready for church or a bible study at any time.
Virginia is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Sue Copley, Pearl Ann Sexton-Arnett, Lillian Meade, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Eugene Sexton. Virginia will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and all those that took such great care of her at Pikeville Nursing and Rehab.
Visitation will be held on, Monday, December 29, 2025, 6pm, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, Church will begin at 7pm, with Bro. Robert Justice officiating. The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 12Noon, with Bro. Robert Justice officiating, burial will follow at R.H. Ratliff cemetery.
