Virginia DOFFLEMYER Obituary

DOFFLEMYER, Virginia R. (Richards), passed away on February 22, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred A. Dofflemyer; loving mother of Martha Clarke and her spouse, Ed, and Barry Dofflemyer and his spouse, Nancy. She is survived by six grandchildren, Todd Dofflemyer, Barton Dofflemyer, Andy Dofflemyer, Phil Baugh, Mike Baugh and Sharon Richmond; along with 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on March 10, at 3:30 p.m. at the Good Sheppard Lutheran Church, 7701 Kenwood Rd. in Cincinnati, Ohio. An additional memorial service to be held in Charlottesville, Va. is being planned for a future date and an obituary with service details will be posted preceding the Charlottesville service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Virginia to Mental Health America, Charlottesville Albemarle, 953 2nd Street, SE, Charlottesville, Va. 22902 or Albemarle High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, 2775 Hydraulic Road, Charlottesville, Va. 22901. Dear Martha and family,

Mrs. Dofflemyer was a wonderful lady and friend. She was my G.C. at A.H.S. I also knew both Mr. and Mrs.D. from the Mental Health Assoc. The family has my deepest sympathy. R.I.P.Mrs. D. you will always be loved and remembered....
