Virginia "Ginger" Leone Donley, 89, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, surrounded by family, in Salina, KS. She was born November 25, 1935 on her family's farm in Lincoln County, KS to Erwin and Irene (Troeger) Eckelman. Virginia was a graduate of Beverly High School. She married Alvin Donley at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of rural Lincoln County on November 26, 1953. She was a homemaker, farmwife and dedicated member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Ladies Aide. Virginia was also a member of the Westfall Homemakers EHU and the Republican Committee Women.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Jodi White (Richard) of Lincoln and Sheree Wieneke (Daniel) of Beverly; son Lonnie Donley (Heidi) of Westfall; grandchildren, Jeff White (Jenny), Jenelle Borst (Adam), Jacob Wieneke (Amy), Caleb Wieneke (Mallory), Rebecca Wieneke, Brady Donley (Michelle), Colby Donley (Emily), and Aubry Donley; great grandchildren, Owen, Olivia, Emi, Titus, Lydia, Eleanor, Adelaide, Bennett, Dillon, Libby, Cooper, and Georgia; and siblings, Ila King, Dale Eckelman, and Carol Cain. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvin; and sister Florence Fritze.

Visitation: 1-7 p.m., Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Hall Chapel of Lincoln. Family will receive visitors 5-7 p.m.

A private family burial will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery.

Funeral service: 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2025 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
