Virginia Driver, age 92, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born the oldest of 11 children on January 13, 1933 to Kimble and Eunice (Pohlman) Romberg in New London. Virginia married Daniel Driver on May 19, 1979 in New London and together they celebrated 46 wonderful years of marriage. She loved gardening; especially flower gardens. Virginia treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Daniel; and five children, Robert (Susan) Nehring, Cynthia (Carey) Thompson, Mark (Annette) Nehring, Curt Nehring, and Paul (Julie) Nehring; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; five sisters, Jeanette Kalwitz, Dorothy Allen, Donna Krenke, Betty (Larry) Foley, and Mary Ellen Fields; two brothers, Jim Romberg, and Gary (Linda) Romberg.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Nehring; granddaughter, Nicole Nehring; two sisters, Linda Hidde, and Barbara Dobbert; a brother, Harold Romberg; four brothers-in-law, Donald Kalwitz, Ronald Allen, Darwin (Curley) Krenke, and John Fields; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jean Romberg.

The Funeral Service for Virginia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, Wisconsin, with Rev. Aaron Kristopeit officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Floral Hill in New London will take place at a later date.
