Virginia Dudley, peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home at the age of 85 on August 31, 2025, leaving behind a void that no one can fill, and she will be deeply missed.

Born on January 11, 1940, to the late James & Irby Peace in Blackstone, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her sisters Rebecca Leland and Iris Edmonds, her brothers James, Harold and Thomas Peace.

Virginia who was commonly known as "Sue" attended Luther Forest High School in Blackstone, Virgina where she met Ernest and he became her high school sweetheart. They later moved to Maryland and got married. The two were inseparable for the next 64 years and from that union they had two kids.

She acquired her CNA & GNA license to become a nurse. Sue was always passionate about helping people. She worked at several different hospitals and nursing homes around Baltimore throughout her career. She left the job she loved to stay home and take care of her husband after he had a stroke.

Sue gave her life to Christ at a young age. You could always find Sue in church on Sunday mornings and if she wasn't in church, she was reading her bible. Sue and Ernest would always go and visit the sick and shut in whether they were friends or family members near and far. Sometimes it would require a trip out of town. If you ever needed help with anything Sue was always willing to lend a helping hand even if it was something as small as washing dishes and cleaning your house.

Virginia leaves behind a legacy of love that, will be cherished forever by her Daughter Deanna Dudley and Son Ernest (Money) Dudley, Granddaughter Kiara Dudley, Brother-In-Law Albert Dudley (Pennsylvania), Sisters Yolinda Harvey and Rosalee Clark (Virginia) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. As they navigate life without her physical presence, her spirit and memories will continue to provide comfort and strength. As we bid farewell, may we find solace in knowing that her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she so abundantly shared.
