Virginia Edick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fir Lane Memorial Park, Funeral Home, Chapel & Crematorium on Jul. 17, 2024.
Virginia A. Edick, 91, Eatonville, WA, passed peacefully on a beautiful Sunday morning July 14, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Merton D. Edick sr. and her daughter-in-law Rosella Edick of Burlington, WA.
Virginia is survived by son Mark Edick of Burlington, WA; son Merton Edick Jr. of Yelm, WA; daughter Vickie (Roy) Anderson of Eatonville, WA; son Lyle Edick (Liz) of Puyallup, WA; and Gwen Potasky (Darren) of Graham, five grandchildren, Sarah Edick Howe, (Merton) David Edick III, Joshua Edick, Katelyn Potasky, Rebecca Edick, and two great grandchildren, Matthew and Emily Edick.
Virginia was born in Puyallup, WA, and grew up in McMillan, WA. She was a 1950 graduate of Summer High School where she also met her husband.
Virginia loved being with family, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly. She enjoyed being a grandma. She loved the Lord and spent hours in her bible daily all her life. She shared her faith until her last day of life. She was a member of Bethany Baptist in Puyallup, Peoples Church in Tacoma and Bethel Christian Fellowship in Graham.
Music brought her pleasure; she loved to sing and played the organ for many years. She loved the outdoors, going on walks and in the early years spending vacations with family and good friends at High Valley in Packwood. She used to reminisce of these times often. She was a florist for several years at Twin Cedars in Puyallup. She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital, Puyallup, a job she loved, for over 20 years.
She and husband Merton had a wonderful life together with their family and many friends.
Together again Mom and Dad
