Virginia “Ginger” D. Schlagel

Virginia D. Schlagel of Pennsauken passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 81 years of age. She was born on June 20,1943 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Bartolemo and Anna Riggio. Ginger worked as a bookkeeper for Wills Appliance Parts in Philadelphia for many years. In her younger years, she often enjoyed playing Pinochle. She absolutely loved her annual Christmas Eve tradition spent with family and friends and gifts galore for all the kids! Ginger's greatest passion was loving and spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Loving mother of Lisa (Harry) Lannon and Traci (Bill) Miller, dear sister of William (Barbara) Riggio and Anna Marie (Fred) Muchler, cherished grandmother of Jamie (Eric) Miller, Amber (Ryan) Daniels, Steven (Adelina) Miller, Ashley (Cullen) Jennings, Harry Lannon, Jr., Robert (Lauren) Lannon and the late Shaun Walters, adoring great-grandmother of Logan, Lucas, Gavin, Wyatt and Beau. Ginger will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and visitation with her family on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, 9-11 AM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Road, Maple Shade, NJ. Ginger’s funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
