Virginia L. "Gin" Hemminger

Virginia L. "Gin" ( Bean) Hemminger, 47 of Mount Pleasant passed away on Wednesday October 29, 2025 in Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Gin was born on April 23, 1978 in Columbus,OH. She attended Mount Pleasant Area High School after moving to Pennsylvania her freshman year. After high School, Gin worked as a CNA at Hempfield Manor and other health care facilities. Upon marriage to her beloved husband, Todd M. Hemminger, Gin became a devoted stay at home wife and mother to her daughter, Miranda Jean Cook. Gin is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Bean and Kathleen Duffey Freeman and a son, Eugene "Tyler" Cook. In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by her brother, Scott Bean; sister, Melinda Banta; her step father, Tom Freeman and her step siblings, Heath Freeman, Sr.and Crystal Virtue, as well as many other family, friends and her loving pets.
