Virginia Elizabeth Hill was born July 18, 1945 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of the late Ernest Tracy Perkins and Frances Elizabeth Horney Perkins. 

She was united in marriage to Carl O. Hill on November 28, 1991. Mr. Hill preceded her in death on August 7, 2005. She was a member of the Maggie Jones United Methodist Church in Finger, TN. She loved volunteering in her community and served in many different volunteer roles.

Mrs. Hill departed this life on August 15, 2024 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 28 Days.

Virginia's presence touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark of kindness and grace. As we fondly remember Virginia, let us treasure the memories of her warmth, love, and unwavering spirit that will forever resonate in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Marie Helwig and husband Troy of Coon Rapids, MN; a son, Robert Anthony (Bobby) Bauer and wife Linda of Minneapolis, MN; step children: Charlotte Mayfield and fiance Bo Ferguson of Enville, TN, Carl Richard Hill of Colorado Springs, CO; Jimmy Hill of Ripley, TN; Jerry Hill and special friend Jackie of Whiteville, TN; Terry Lynn Hill of Whiteville, TN; Charles Michael (Tom) Hill and wife Rhonda of Bolivar, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Callie and Birdie Lipford both of Adamsville, TN; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Wayne Bauer and Gary Michael Hill; and a brother, Robert Perkins.
