Virginia Ann Smith Kilbreth, age 77, of Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Saturday, July 24, 1948, in Stephenville, Texas, a daughter of the late Ernie D. And Alma F. Neal Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Wade Smith and one sister, Alma Robertson.

Ginny loved cooking, cleaning, playing games with her friends, she also loved telling stories and talking about the good ole days. If you ever talked to her you knew she lived in Texas and California as a child. She was proud to attend and enjoyed going to Veteran events with her husband, Larry.

She had special memories with each one of her family members and always enjoyed attending any events her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a part of.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Larry Roger Kilbreth; two daughters, Karin (Rob) Harris of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Donna Morgan (Bob Johnson) of Maysville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Kristen (Mark) Ruggles, Robyn Harris, Shannon (Curtis) Applegate, Robert (Michaela) Harris, Roger (Sandi) Morgan, Allison Morgan; 12 great-grandchildren, Braydon, Rilee, Kylie, Jaxon, Katie, Aubrey, Ryder, Mason, Savanna, Harper, Grayson, Luke; one brother-in-law, Ed Robertson, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 Ky 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky, with Sister Jeannie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Esham Cemetery in Vanceburg, Kentucky.

Friends may visit from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2025, and after 9 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2025, until the service hour at Tollesboro Funeral Home.

Robert Harris, Roger Morgan, Braydon Kilbreth, Chad Stamm, Frank Crawford and Dink Crawford will serve as pallbearers.

Jaxon Gilbert, Mason Ruggles, Luke Harris, Ryder Applegate, Grayson Applegate, Mark Ruggles and Curtis Applegate will serve as honorary pallbearers.

A dinner will follow at Tollesboro Funeral Home Fellowship Hall.

Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family of Virginia Ann Smith Kilbreth.
