Virginia Lou Limpert

Colebrook Twp. – Virginia L. Limpert, age 99, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 19, 1925 in Lima, the daughter of Herbert W. and Ruth A. (Vogel) Charles. She was married to Daniel John Limpert on March 1, 1946. Virginia was the Ashtabula County Probate Court, Deputy Clerk, and member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed many hobbies: sewing, knitting, ceramics, painting, reading, playing the organ, piano, guitar, golf, bowling and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren playing card games or putting puzzles together. Survived by her children Christine A. (Edward) Port, Katherine A. (Lee) Zeinert, Susan R. (Thomas) Likavec, Daniel C.M. (Joan) Limpert, grandchildren Mara, Ruth, Elizabeth, Matt, Kimberly, Andrew, Danielle, Lisa, Michael, Jonathan, Stephanie, David, Eric, Norman, Steven, 40 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Herbert, husband Daniel, siblings Mary, Marge, Edna, James. Also, her first husband Robert and an infant son.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12:00pm-1:45pm at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, Ohio 44076. The Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Joshua Woodard will follow at 2:00pm. A Private burial will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon, OH.
