Virginia “Ginnie” A. Mark 92 of Bainbridge passed away early Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, at her home following a brief illness. She was born Friday, August 11, 1933, in Ross County, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Bertha (Arbaugh) Bethel. On Saturday, June 6, 1953, she married her beloved husband Robert E. Mark, who survives. They shared 72 wonderful years together.
Ginnie is also survived by many nieces and nephews; special friends Daniel and Serena DeGarmo and family, and her loving church family.
In addition to her parents Ginnie was preceded in death by her brother Thomas (Betty) Bethel and sisters Mary (Lloyd) Annis and Naomi (Howard) Cutright.
Ginnie was a member of the church in Chillicothe, and she drove a bus for Paint Valley Schools from 1990 to 2002.
A private celebration of life and burial will be at the discretion of the family.
