She was kind to everyone she met and was always complimenting others and asking if she could pray for their needs. She loved everyone she knew and she loved God. A very giving person, she was always concerned about others well-being and their relationship with God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Thomas Alan McRay on January 10, 2011.
Surviving are her children, Melissa & Todd Wright of Stanton, Michigan, and James Alan & Amy McRay of Eaton Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren, Anna McRay, Andrew McRay, Jonah McRay, and Chris McRay, Aaron & Pat Abrahamson; great-grandchildren, Eudeia, Olcon, Istela Abrahamson; and Elway McRay; brothers and sisters, Robert & Vicky Patterson, Margaret Patterson, Paul & Lori Patterson; nephews and nieces, Eugene Patterson, Ana Cristina Patterson, Robert Patterson, Jr., Colleen Duerson, Venessa Coty, Theresa Sanchez, John Paul Coty, and Margo Patterson; a sister-in-law, Agnes Delionardi; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of Virginia's life is being planned and will be announced after the Independence Day holiday. Instead of flowers, Virginia would have appreciated contributions in her memory to the charity of ones' choice.
