Virginia Hopkins Moore, 93, passed away on January 17, 2025.
Born in 1931, she married her husband, Stanley Lee Moore, in 1948. She retired as Personnel Administrator at Hiram College and was a member of Portage Faith United Methodist Church in Mantua. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crafts, traveling, and playing cards. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Lee Moore, and her siblings, Judy (Albert) Hotard, Myron (Ruth) and Noble (Vera) Hopkins. She is survived by her children, Connie (Charles) Evans of Ravenna, Shirlyn (Thomas) Terbrack of Bay Village, Les (Dora) Moore of Pickerington, Paul (Theresa) Moore of Mantua; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, January 23rd from 9 to 11 am at Portage Faith United Methodist Church, 9922 OH-44, Mantua, OH 44255, with a funeral service immediately following. A time of fellowship in the social hall will be held after the service. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville. Procession to the cemetery will start from the church following the luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mantua Shalersville Fire Department, 10303 OH-44, Mantua, OH 44255.
