Ms. Virginia Leanne Peach, age 52, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at her home in Willacoochee, Ga. following an extended illness.
Ms. Peach was born August 10, 1973, in Homerville, Ga. to the late James Edward and Vera Wynell Griffis Peach. She moved to Willacoochee, Ga. in 2008 where she worked as a clerk at Adens Minit Market and attended Acts 29 Church Unto God. Ms. Peach enjoyed playing uno, going to Jekyll Island, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-nephew, Silas Guy, and best friend, Sandra Delk.
Survivors Include
2 Sons: Justin Peach and fiancé Alexis of Douglas, Ga.
Jordan Peach and wife Kyndell of Grand Rapids, Mi.
Brother: Jimmy Peach of Nashville, Ga.
Sister: Kathy Peach Forsythe and husband Eddie of Pearson, Ga.
5 grandchildren: Jayden, Jace, Jacob, Marleigh, and Jaxson Peach
Several other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Ms. Peach were held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. with Rev. Marvin Booth officiating. Special music included “Supermarket Flower”, “How Do I Say Goodbye”, “Master of the Wind” and “I Wanna Stroll Over Heaven With You”.
Memorialization was by cremation.
Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
