Virginia M. Reynolds

Virginia "Ginny" Reynolds, longtime resident of Flourtown, passed away on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 at Dock Woods Senior Living Community.
Born and raised on her family farm in Springhouse, Virginia was the daughter of the late Stanley and Jennie (Stettler) Marple. She attended Ursinus College briefly and then earned her R.N. at Chestnut Hill Nursing School. She and her husband Ronnie married in 1954 and settled in Flourtown, where together they lovingly raised their five daughters.
Ginny's was a life of commitment and dedication to others. She worked in nursing for many years at Chestnut Hill Hospital, Artman Lutheran Home and as a private duty nurse. In addition to raising five girls, she served as a Girl Scout leader, volunteered at school, cared for extended family members, and served in many capacities at her church. She spent many years helping care for and nurture her grandchildren, who she adored.
Ginny loved her family with her whole heart. She was deeply committed to her Lord and to her church family at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for more than sixty years. She had tremendous faith, and was passionate about nature, gardening, ice cream and learning new things.
In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland Reynolds, and her sisters Dorothy Marple and Alice Rothwell. She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Rodgers and her husband Rick of Pottstown, Gail Smith and her husband Ron, of Harleysville, Linda Reynolds of Lancaster, Joellen Reynolds of Little Ferry, NJ, and Nancy Lockard and her husband Gary of Harleysville, as well as her grandchildren Tim (Isa), Kristin (Kyle), Kelsie (Alex), Bud (Kayla) and Makenna, and great grandchildren Riley, Jorie, Zoey, Rafa, Emiliano, and Delaney. She also had many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, January 21st, at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1119 Church Rd, Oreland, PA 19075, where family will receive visitors beginning at 10 am with service to follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ginny's honor to Whosoever Gospel Mission, 101 E.
