It is with sadness and great love that we announce the passing of Ginger Robinson on August 5th, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and proud RN, she leaves behind a legacy of love, support, and care after a long and courageous battle against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Born on February 14th, 1944, in Springfield, MA, and raised in Centerville, MA, Ginger was predeceased by her parents Mardell and Emilio (Richard) Gallo, and her brother Bobby.

Ginger is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, William Champlin ""Knute"" Robinson.

Ginger was an amazing, inspirational, and encouraging mother to her sons David and his wife Julie, and Mark and his wife Laura. She was a proud ""Gigi"" to her adored grandchildren Olivia, Jack, and Porter, always supporting and cheering them on in their endeavors. Her love always extended to her brother Richard Gallo, sister Adrienne, sister-in-law Pam Houston, and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She enjoyed a nursing career of more than 40 years at Cape Cod Hospital, Falmouth Hospital, and JML Care Center as well as volunteering at the Cotuit Center for the Arts and the Cotuit Library. Ginger loved to travel and explore the highways and back roads of America in her beloved motor home - having enjoyed several cross-country trips visiting family, friends, and almost every state as well as all the major US National Parks. Always with her beautiful smile, she also enjoyed annual trips up and down the east coast to the Florida Keys in the winter, and many summers in Biddeford Pool, Maine.

Ginger drove a stick shift sports car, rode horseback in Canyon de Chelly, rode her own enduro motorcycle, played acoustic guitar, and was a majorette (BHS '62). She enjoyed trips to islands near & far with her travelling partner & husband Knute and her children. She was blessed with so many wonderful memories of so many caring, supportive, and FUN friends.

The family would like to especially thank her caregiver Nancy for her support, care, compassion, and giving Ginger the ability to reach her final resting point on her own terms.

A private family memorial service will be held in the coming days and a celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginger's memory can be made to CurePSP at www.psp.org or, you may choose to honor and reflect on her life and memories while you enjoy the beaches & waters of Cape Cod.
