Virginia Lee Scott, 82, of Kenova, WV passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Annex, Wayne. She was born March 4, 1943 at Wayne, WV, a daughter of the late John Wesley and Ester Terry Cyrus. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Deris Scott, a son, Steve Blanton, two sisters, Mable Staley and Arlene Hall, and a brother, Johnny Cyrus. Survivors include three sons, Kenny Blanton and wife Deidra of Ocklawaha, FL, David Blanton and wife Glenda of Kenova, WV and Christopher Blanton and wife Holly of Barboursville, WV; five grandchildren, Kenny Allen Blanton, Samantha Johnson, Bella Blanton, Melody Blanton and Trey Blanton; and three great-grandchildren, Avery, Oden and Harry. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne.
