Virginia Serna Obituary
She was tragically and unexpectedly taken from us May 31st in Albuquerque, NM along with her other half Hesiqiuo "Jr" Cordova. Their beloved dog Beau was also injured but expected to make a full recovery.
Virginia will lovingly be remembered by her mom Carmen Serna, brothers Jerome and Julian Serna, sister Raquel Steeves, sons Ezra and Diego Chavira, future daughter in laws Angelica and Samantha, her beautiful granddaughter Arrilyah Chavira, former spouse Juan Chavira and her dog Beau.
Prior to moving to Albuquerque, Virginia lived in Ruidoso, NM where she helped raise her siblings Julian, Raquel and Nicole.
Virginia's love was infectious, she spent so much of her life selflessly caring for others. Her smile and laugh could light up a room! She loved her family and cared for everyone unconditionally. She was a free spirit at heart who enjoyed everything from karaoke, billiards, dancing, laughing to hunting, camping, four wheeling and tuning into the newest Sasquatch chronicles.
A celebration of life will be held in Belen, NM. Services will be on Friday at Noblin 418 west Reinken Ave Belen. 9:00 am will be private viewing, 10:00 will be public viewing, 11:00 will be Rosary/Funeral Service
A Gofundme has been set up for memorial donations. Thank you to all family and friends who have reached out and sent condolences. She will be deeply missed.
