In Loving Memory of Virginia Striplin

Virginia Striplin was born on November 17, 1972, at Tigua General Hospital in El Paso, Texas, to Angelica Striplin and Robert Striplin. She was the beloved middle child of her family.

Virginia graduated from Jefferson High School and went on to continue her education at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for teaching became her life's work.

For 27 years, Virginia dedicated herself to shaping young minds as a pre-K4 teacher at O'Shea Keleher Elementary. She was a loving and devoted educator who touched countless lives with her patience, kindness, and gentle spirit.

Above all, Virginia was a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Geena, Gianna, and Genah. She was also a cherished grandmother to Adalynn and Landon Arellano, who brought immense joy to her life.

Virginia will be deeply missed for her loving, caring, and kind soul. Though she is no longer with us, she lives on in our hearts and in the many lives she touched throughout her

I was unfortunately never a student of hers, but I was assigned to her class as a student ambassador at O'Shea. I never realized how funny and lighthearted she was until I began spending time with her. I spent most of my school lunches with her for 2 years. Everyday I walked into her class she was so amazing, she always spoke about something funny her daughters did that day or week. Always having something great to say about them and what they were up to those days. One day I fell out of her chair and she couldn't stop laughing. Almost every day for the rest of that year she would remind me to be safe around chairs or make a chair pun. She gave me the best advice I have ever received even to this day. She was one of the best women on this earth I wish her family the very best through this time.
