Salerno’s Funeral Home-Rosedale Chapel - Roselle“Virginia Ann Tipton, lovingly known as Ginger, of Bloomingdale, Illinois, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 25, 2025. Born on September 30, 1943, in River Forest, Illinois, Ginger lived a life marked by faith, creativity, and an unwavering love for her family.
Ginger was the cherished wife of Dudley Tipton, a devoted homemaker, and a woman whose faith guided every step she took. She was the daughter of Charles Soellner and Mary Lizzadro, both of whom preceded her in death.
A faithful member of Evangel Church, Ginger served diligently and joyfully, loving people well and giving her time and talents to honor the Lord she loved so deeply. Whether organizing events, helping behind the scenes, or offering warmth and encouragement, Ginger embodied a heart of service and lived out her faith with grace.
She found great joy in blessing others whether through the specialty desserts she crafted with care or through her work as a Senior Event Coordinator, where her welcoming presence and thoughtful touch made every gathering meaningful. Her servant’s heart, gentle smile, and gift for hospitality reflected Jesus to all who knew her.
Ginger is survived by her beloved daughter Lisa, and her grandchildren Alex, Kaydence, Ethan, and Tristan. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly, and leaves behind Kimberly’s children, Jacob and Ashley, who continue to carry her legacy of love.
Though she will be deeply missed, we celebrate the blessed assurance that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones, and in the presence of the One she faithfully served. Ginger’s legacy endures in her family, in the lives she touched, and in the memories, she leaves behind each one a reminder of her generous spirit and the joy she brought to others.”
