Virginia M. (Lien) (Bolser) Trejbal, lovingly known as "Ginnie," "Virgie," "Grammie," and "Great Grammie Ice Cream," passed away peacefully at the age of 83 after a short battle with cancer in Liberty Lake, Washington. Her motto in life was simple and sweet: "Life is short-eat dessert first."
She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Dr. A. John Trejbal; her devoted children Sheri Taylor (Pat) and Jim Bolser (Robin); and her much-loved stepchildren Heidi Conant (Scott) and Johnny Trejbal (Stacey). She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 10 (soon to be 11) great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harry E. Lien and Shirley Hebert.
Born in North Dakota, Virginia moved to North Idaho as a young girl, where she grew up and built a beautiful life rooted in family, faith, and love. A devoted wife and mother, she also worked alongside her husband, managing his chiropractic office until their retirement.
Virginia and John loved to travel and spend time in Palm Springs, where they made many dear friends and shared countless adventures and laughter.
Virginia was, first and foremost, the matriarch of her family-the quiet, steady heart that held everyone together. She was the heart of our large, blended family. Known for her grace, kindness, and timeless class, she touched all who knew her with warmth and wisdom. Her strong faith and deep belief in God guided her throughout life and brought her comfort through her final journey.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held on November 22, 2025, at 11:30 am. at Heritage Funeral Home. The service will also be available via live stream. Virginia will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
