DeVargas Funeral Home and Crematory - EspanolaVirginia Trujillo, 75, a resident of Nambe, NM, passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Redolfo and Ruth Griego, brothers, Rudy Griego and Carlos Griego, nephews, Alex Griego, AJ Trujillo and Paul Gurule. Father and Mother-in-law, Melecia and Victor Trujillo of Santa Fe, grandparents Esquipula and Rita Salazar of Nambe and Anastacio and Maria Griego of Tesuque.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Fred Trujillo, son, Raymond (Tammie) Trujillo; daughters, Alisha (Kris) Spinks; Michelle Trujillo, grandchildren, Natasha Trujillo, Nathaniel and Ashley Null, Joshua (Alexandria) Trujillo, Giovona Trujillo, Renee Chavez, Rayonna (Matt) McKale, Ryan (Bri Gallegos) Gutierrez and Jordan Garcia, great granddaughters JazelleTrujillo and Beloved Trujillo, great grandsons Kevin and Jake McKale. Siblings, Angie Gomez and Joseph (Theresa) Griego; sister-in-laws, Julia Griego, Veronica Griego, brother-in-law Alfred (Susie) Trujillo, nephews Adam Griego, Kevin (Jacqueline) Griego and Danny (Melissa) Gomez, nieces Rebecca and Sharon Griego, Samantha (Estevan) Sanchez, Brenda (Donny) Ortiz, and 23 great nephews and nieces.
Virginia was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was a devout Christian and prayer warrior.
Virginia fought a courageous battle with cancer and several other medical conditions.
Services will be held at Victory Faith in Espanola, NM, on Saturday, December 06, 2025, at 10:00 am. Memorial burial will celebrated by the immediate family at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
