On July 18, 1950, Virginia Padilla Vega was born to Josephine and Eulalio Padilla in Carrizozo, New Mexico, where she attended and graduated from Carrizozo High School. Virginia then later relocated to Roswell, New Mexico, where she worked at the Chaves County Joy Center as a Senior Companion for almost five years. Virginia was a very loving and caring person who would help anyone. She enjoyed her time cleaning and enjoyed being at home. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to work and being with co-workers and her senior companions. Virginia loved decorating her home for the holidays and taking her morning walks. She truly loved sitting on her back porch watching the sunset, drinking a cold beer, and listening to music with her son and daughter-in-law. She loved going to the casino with friends and enjoyed cooking meals for her family on special occasions. Virginia will be missed dearly.
