Virginia B. "Ginny" Yost, 84, currently of Bellefonte, died peacefully on October 17, 2025 in Centre Care Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard F. "Dick" Yost for more than 50 years and the daughter of the late Paul and Emily (Gulla) Beck. Born in Emmaus, she lived in the Lehigh Valley all her life until moving to Bellefonte in 2016.

Ginny was an executive secretary at Air Products for 23 years, retiring in 2000. She was a lifelong member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Emmaus, serving with the First Friday Prayer Group. She was a Catholic Daughter, a member of St. Ann's Women's Club and was involved with numerous charitable causes including Catholic Charities, the Care Program and the Madonna Program. She also volunteered her time as a rape crisis counselor, and at the food bank.

Ginny is survived by her son, Henry James Yost (Donna); stepdaughter, Debra Mandell (Michael); grandchildren, Alyssa, Leah, Jacob, Nathan, and Kaylee; great grandchildren, Kurt and Hayley; and her sister, Roseanne (Thomas) Zgura. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dick, daughter Elizabeth Fritz (Richard) and her brothers, Paul and Philip Beck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Fri., Nov. 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th St., Emmaus, PA 18049. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church.
