Vita Lashun Conner, a radiant soul who made the world a brighter place with her laughter and compassion, departed this life on August 10, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, the city of her birth. Born on March 17, 1959, Vita was a beacon of joy and warmth, her spirit an effervescent blend of humor, generosity, and care that reached out to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Vita’s life was a tapestry woven with vibrant experiences and cherished bonds. Her devotion to her family was unwavering; she found her deepest pride in her two sons, Joshua and Derrick Washington, who were the light of her life. Alongside them was her loving husband, Henry Conner, with whom she shared countless beautiful moments filled with joy, love, and laughter. Together, they created a home that resonated with kindness, support, and the unmistakable energy of a thriving family.

Among her many passions, Vita found delight in the simple pleasures of life. She often spent her weekends at the casino, not just gaming but reveling in the camaraderie and excitement that filled the air. The smooth rhythms of Frankie Beverly & Maze echoed in her heart, their melodies painting her memories with vivid colors, especially during the enchanting nights she attended their concerts. Cooking and cleaning were not merely tasks for Vita; they were expressions of her nurturing spirit, activities she embraced with a lively flair that invigorated her home.

As a businesswoman, Vita proudly ran her own cleaning service, a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit and her dedication to hard work. It was a reflection of her commitment not only to her craft but to the individuals and families she served, always approaching every job with a sense of dignity and pride.

In life, Vita Lashun Conner was not just an individual; she was a vibrant personality—funny, outgoing, compassionate, caring, and giving. Her laughter could light up any room, and her arms were always open wide for those in need of comfort and support. She embodied the essence of love and community, leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts of many.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her remarkable life. A viewing will be held on August 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L.
