Vito J. Zambri, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 24, 1945, in Orange, NJ, Vito lived a life full of love, service, and dedication.
Vito was a dedicated letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years. He spent 54 wonderful years married to Antonina Zambri, the love of his life. Together they raised a family that brought him immense pride and joy. Vito is survived by his beloved wife, Antonina; his daughter, Alicia Zambri; and his son, Vito P. Zambri. He is also survived by his brother, Peter Zambri, who shared many cherished moments with him.
In addition to his career and family, Vito's passions included the NY Yankees, Notre Dame football, fireworks, and taking trips to Atlantic City with familyactivities that brought him happiness and created lasting memories with loved ones.
Vitos parents, Vito and Mary Zambri, predeceased him, leaving behind a legacy of love and hard work that he carried with him throughout his life.
Visitation services will be held on March 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The interment will take place the following day, March 12, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to a charity supporting Alzheimer's research.
Vito will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared with his family and friends.
The virtual service will begin at 6:30 PM.
