A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me".
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Our beloved, Vivian Leak Davis, was called from labor to eternal rest, Saturday, February 16, 2024, at her residence in Albemarle, North Carolina. Born August 26,1957, in Stanly County, North Carolina, Vivian was the daughter of the late Hallie Leak Knotts and Harold Lilly Sr. Precious are the memories that will always live in our hearts for Vivian will be remembered as a woman of faith, compassion, and generosity. May Our Lord and Savior hold her in the palm of His Hand.
She was educated in the Stanly County public schools and was employed with International Automotive Components (IAC), Albemarle until her declining health.
Vivian was fun-loving, enjoyed laughter, and playing her favorite card games, especially Spades and Bingo. She also loved watching movies and shopping for that perfect purple outfit. Purple was her favorite color and she always looked beautiful when she wore it. Vivian loved family and her most cherished pastime was spending time with her family.
Her parents, Hallie and Harold; son, Michael Leak; and sister, Priscilla Lilly preceded her in death.
We give thanksgiving for a life we loved and treasured. Gone from our home, but not from our hearts, her daughters: Stephanie Davis and Christina Covington; grandchildren: Arabian Parker, Damaysha Parker, Zamyan Parker, Isaiah Spatcher, Ja'Niya Covington, and Sha' Kayla Parker; great grandchild, Izarian Cree; brother, Harold Lilly Jr.;special cousins: :Lois G. Johnson, Wanda Tyson and Zilla Green; special friends: Henrietta Brown-Williams and Gracie Coble; a host of relatives and friends will forever cherish Vivian's memory.
