Vivian Marie Fletcher

Vivian Marie Dyer Fletcher, aged 77, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Born on January 8, 1948, in the serene surroundings of Haywood County, North Carolina, Vivian lived a life marked by dedication to her family and work, as well as a deep love for the simple joys of life.

Vivian devoted many years of her career as a diligent office administrator at Ed McMurray's Transmission Service, where her work ethic and warm spirit left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Beyond her professional life, she found immense joy in taking long, leisurely car rides, exploring the beauty of the countryside. Her love for her cats was boundless, and they brought her comfort and companionship throughout her days.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Vinson and Virginia Fowler Dyer, and her dear sisters, Linda Dyer and Julia Dyer. Vivian leaves behind a loving family who will miss her greatly: her son, John V. Fletcher of Hendersonville, her sister, Kathy Campbell of Belton, South Carolina, her niece, Charity Dyer, and her nephew, Chris Dyer.

In accordance with Vivian's wishes, no services will be held at this time. Her family takes solace in their memories of her gentle nature and unwavering kindness. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal beauty she so adored.
