Vivian Louise Harrison, born on January 23, 1927, in Dayton, Ohio, went home to be with The Lord on June 11, 2025, in Beavercreek, Ohio. A beloved matriarch, Vivian was known for her generous spirit, loving heart, and unwavering faith.
Throughout her life, Vivian worked diligently raising her family, embodying the values of kindness and hard work. She graduated from Stivers High School in Dayton, Ohio, and dedicated herself to her loved ones, finding joy in her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. One of her proudest accomplishments was her family, especially her son Bill and his family, with whom she shared countless cherished memories.
Vivian was a devoted follower of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and found great comfort in her faith. She enjoyed studying the Bible and had a particular admiration for pastors Charles Stanley and David Jeremiah. Her spiritual life was further enriched by her interests , which included her love for the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as sewing, crocheting, and ceramics.
Vivian's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her son, William V. (Cathy) Harrison; daughters, Colinda (Todd) Shields and Connie (Bill) Koester; grandchildren Chris, Amy, Brian, Chrissy and Jenny; and multiple great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Harrison, her parents, Bert and Florence Sanders, and her siblings Margie, Virginia, and Bernice.
Her life was defined by her faith, family, and the love she shared with those around her. Vivian Louise Harrison will be fondly remembered and missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to her family at Trinity of Beavercreek and to the wonderful Hospice of Dayton staff that assisted in her transition to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Vivian.
Visitation will be held on June 23, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, located at 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Valley View Memorial Garden.
