Vivian Kelly Obituary
Vivian possessed a vibrant spirit and a gift for bringing joy and laughter to those around her. She had a deep love for animals and was always ready for an adventure. Her humor was legendary; she was known for cracking jokes and had a fierce competitive streak that shone during her beloved card games with her brother, which she won 99% of the time. Above all, Vivian cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Vivian was preceded in death by her fiancé, Bill; her father, Wesley E. Shurden; her mother, Hazel E. Shurden; her brothers, Kenneth Shurden and John Shurden; and her sisters, Audrey Thomas and Nell Clarke.
She is lovingly survived by her brother, Peter (Joann) Shurden of Milton, FL, her special niece, Vivian Smith (Nick) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thanks to Jaime Phelps, a close friend. We Also want to thank her care team at Gentiva, Roberta, Renee, Doug-you guys were amazing.
Celebration of Life
As per Vivian's request, there will be no traditional funeral service. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Chancies at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Vivian's honor to your local animal shelter or rescue, a cause close to her heart.
