Vivian “Frank” Mansfield Jr., 85, of Madams Creek peacefully went home to meet Jesus Friday, April 4, 2025 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division following a long illness.
Born January 17, 1940 in Jumping Branch he was a son of the late Vivian F. Mansfield Sr. and Macie Matilda Lilly Mansfield.
Frank was a former dairy farmer and a timberman. He was the owner and operator of F & M Trucking. Frank was also a partner of Summers Concrete and Supply until he retired. He enjoyed HAM radio operating, hunting, fishing and listening to gospel and bluegrass music.
Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Thomas Mansfield.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Clara Grimmett Mansfield; one daughter, Stephanie Marrero and husband Joe of Florida; one son, Ralph J. “Bubba” Mansfield of Florida; two grandchildren, Melissa A. Boisvert and husband Mark and Monicka C. Marrero and husband Martin Ramirez; four great grandchildren, Jonathan E. Boisvert, Zachary A. Boisvert, Christian Ramirez and Isaiah Ramirez; three brothers, Ronnie D. Mansfield, Richard L. Mansfield and wife Virginia and Johnny W. Mansfield and wife Sandra; one sister, Norma J. Burns; five nieces, Sherri Wheeler and husband Rocky, Charlotte Burnette and husband Scott, Andrea Mansfield, Staci Burns Green and husband Stacey and Kathi Mansfield; one nephew, Kody Burns; five great nieces, Hailey, Caleb, Sam, Johnny and Leanne; four great nephews, Noah, Dreason, Austin, Keith and Dustin as well as numerous cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Mark Bayle officiating. Burial will follow in the One Arm Bill Lilly Cemetery at Jumping Branch. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until time of services on Friday at the funeral parlors. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Grimmett, Steve Mounts, Rocky Wheeler, Johnny Wheeler, Scott Burnette and Kody Burns. Following the services family will meet at Johnny and Sandra’s.
