Vivian McMullan Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Vivian McMullan, age 89, peacefully met her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1936 in Ozona, Texas. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Ron McMullan, her parents, Ezra and Cloma Trotter, and three of her siblings, Buster Trotter, Peggy Williams, and Mary Sue Trotter. Vivian (aka Mema) is survived by her daughter Lisa Lyles ( husband Carl), her son Mitchell McMullan (wife Sue), four grandchildren: Jayson Williams (wife Whitney), Jarrett Williams (wife Jessica), Chuck McMullan (wife Paige), Scott Lyles (wife Christie) and nine great-grandchildren. Her family was her most cherished gift. Vivian loved life, people, and was an eternal optimist. Before retiring and moving from Helotes to Fair Oaks Ranch, she and Lisa co-owned a tenant screening business. She was actively involved in various social women's groups, holding multiple officer positions. These included the Fair Oaks Women's Club, several book clubs, and the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.), which was especially close to her heart. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she met her Lord and Savior with wide open arms, and heaven has gained a tough, spunky, high-energy angel. Services will be held at St Mark Presbyterian Church in Boerne on Friday October 10, 2025 at 1pm. A reception will follow at the home of Jayson & Whitney Williams. In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to The P.E.O. Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Tunnels to Towers Foundation or Snack Pak 4 Kids SA.
