Vivian (Jett) Bunch Rice, age 92, of Walton, Kentucky, went to her eternal home on August 12, 2025.

Born to the late Carl Jett Sr. and Verna Lainhart Jett, Vivian lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. She retired from George Newman Company, where she served many years as a dedicated executive secretary. Beyond her professional life, Vivian found joy in the art of quilt-making-a craft she lovingly practiced and shared with those around her.

Vivian's faith was a guiding force throughout her life, and she was a devoted and loving mother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved sisters Beulah Carpenter and Mary Jean Colwell; her brother Albert "Bud" Jett; her first husband James Bunch; and her second husband Ralph C. Rice.

She is survived by her six children: Peggy D. Riley, Rebecca Ahlor, Theresa Hagedorn, Jeffrey W. Bunch, Steven D. Bunch, and Gregory Bunch; her sister Brenda Filer; and brothers Michael, Larry, and Carl Jett Sr. Vivian also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of pride and joy in her life.

A private graveside burial service will be held at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington, Kentucky at the convenience of the family.

Vivian will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering faith, and the love she gave so generously to her family and all who knew her.
