Vivian Anne Perry Williamson, 58, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
Born in Burke County, NC, on October 13, 1966, she was the daughter of Stephen Marler Perry and the late Linda Davis Perry.
Vivian was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs. You could find her on a rainy day with a good book or watching old westerns with her dad. Vivian married her high school sweetheart and now, 34 years later, they are finally reunited.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sierra Sprehe (Brett) and Kelsey Williamson (Andrew); sisters, Karen Perry Coleman (Dean) and Stephanie Perry Smith (Stephen); niece, Deanna Puckett (Michael); nephews, D.J. Coleman (Lauren) and Hunter Smith (Lilli); niece, Katelyn Smith (Aaron); and great-nieces and nephews, Adelyn Puckett, Liberty Brown and Landyn Brown.
In addition to her mother, Vivian was preceded in death by her first husband, Darren Clarke.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Collins officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff of College Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation and Amorem Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Vivian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice (amoremsupport.org/donate).
