Prayers for you Milan I know your hurting, and only with time will that heal somewhat. I have listened to you tell the story of your mother and it was evident how much you love and cherish her. And you will continue to do that in the memory of her. I didn´t know her personally but in the stories you told it felt like we were next door neighbors.Much hugs and love to you. Milan, your love for your mother was so evident to anyone who watched you together. And her love for you was also obvious. I am honored to have known Vlasta. She was an amazing woman full of laughter and energy. I have fond memories of sitting on her bed listening to the two of you share your wild adventures together. Vlasta set the standard for cooking amazing meals from so many cultures. Vlasta was also a hardworking student, interior designer, and dedicated nurse. Her nursing skills propelled her to many high positions in the medical profession. But she always remembered that her roots were putting patients first. Her big heart inspired her to help so many people who were discarded for their personal beliefs giving hope and a fresh start to many. I only wish Darryl your stepfather had cared enough for either of you to contact you so you could properly grieve without being excluded.
