VOJISLAV RADOJEVIC Chandler, AZ Vojislav "Vojo" Radojevic, 68, of Chandler, AZ, formerly of Schererville, IN & Hot Springs, AR, died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by wife Danica "Dana" (nee Subotic) & son Bojan (Kari), both of Chandler, AZ; daughter Lidija (Zoran) Ilic, Hot Springs, AR; granddaughters Jovana & Ivana Ilic, AR & Kristina Radojevic, AZ; uncle Jezdo (Ruza) Vucenovic & aunts Dara Arambasic & Zora (Martic), all of Kragujevac, Serbia; brother-in-law Djuro (late Milica) Subotic of IN; sisters-in-law: Nasta (late Luka) Dragic & Marija (Luka) Cvetic, both of Bolec, Serbia, Jelena (late Petar) Tutus of IN, & Miljana (late Nikola) Subotic, Kragujevac; nieces: Ana (Nikola) Loncar, Kragujevac; Zorka (Bozo) Despinic, OH; Ana (Nenad) Maric, AZ, & Milica (Steve) Yonkaitis & Danica (Robert) Lucker, both of CO; nephews: Dejan Radojevic and family of Belgrade Serbia, Dmitar (Gordana) Subotic & Goran Subotic, both of IN, & Dusan Tutus, IL; great-nieces: Marija, Suzana, Angela, Natasa, Megan & Emily; great-nephews: David, Alex, Steven, Marko, Matthew, Chris, & Colin; many great-great nieces & nephews; numerous cousins, nephews & nieces in Serbia & many Kumovi, Prijatelji & friends in Serbia & throughout the U.S. Predeceased by parents Boro & Kosana (nee Vucenovic) & brother Tomislav, all of Kragujevac. Vojislav was born in Backi Jarak, Serbia on October 2, 1946 & grew up in Kragujevac where he met & married Dana, & raised their 2 children. In 1973, the family moved to the U.S. to Dana's sister Jelena (late Petar) & brother Djuro (late Milica) in East Chicago, IN. Vojo was employed at Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company in East Chicago & was the owner/operator of Voja's Amoco Service & Car Repair in Hammond, IN prior to moving to Hot Springs, AR where he was employed in maintenance work prior to retirement. Two years ago, Vojo & Dana moved to Arizona to live closer to their son Bojan wife Kari and granddaughter Kristina. Vojo was a member of Serbian Orthodox Churches in IN & AZ & was Church President at St. Archangel Michael Church in Hot Springs. Funeral service will be held Saturday July 4th, at 10am at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, Phoenix, AZ with Very Rev. Dragomir Tuba officiating. At rest, Mountain View Cemetery 7900 E Main Street, Mesa AZ. Friends are invited to call on Friday July 3rd 5-7pm at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N Macdonald Mesa AZ. Vojo will be missed by many.
