Vonda Lee Ealey

Vonda Lee Ealey, 89, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on December 5, 2025 at Quail Run Health and Rehab. She was born on November 27, 1936 in Kennett, Missouri to Homer and Gertrude (Carr) Johnson. Vonda was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas. She enjoyed cooking, listening to gospel music, and spending time with family.
Survivors include; five children: Johnny Bushong (Martha) of Monette, Arkansas, James Ealey (Sharon) of Maulden, Missouri, Thomas Ealey (Lisa) of Trumann, Arkansas, Donald Ealey (Theresa) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Sheila Williams (Todd) of Trumann, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, forty eight great grandchildren; thirteen great great grandchildren; one sister: Charlene Johnson of Paragould, Arkansas; two brothers: Homer Johnson of Trumann, Arkansas and Joe Johnson of Trumann, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by; her parents: Homer and Gertrude (Carr) Johnson; husband: James Dub Ealey; one sister: Lucille McCain; and three brothers: Jimmy Johnson, Paul Johnson, and Henry Johnson.
Those to serve as pallbearers will be: Bradley Ealey, Joshua Ealey, Preston Williams, Huner Williams, T.J. Ealey, Derek Bushong, and Cadeyn Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Trumann, Arkansas with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
