Wade Allen Bender, age 60, of Rosendale, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Wade was born in Berlin, WI to Donald and Shirley (Dorsey) on May 3, 1965.
Wade lived his life to the fullest and would give his shirt off his back for anyone. Wade was a master craftsman and enjoyed doing construction work for many years. Wade worked at Ripon Area Builders, Duel Concrete, and most recently MPB Builders.
Wade’s passions were hunting, fishing, helping out with harvests on the farm, and watching the Green Bay Packers along with game shows and old time movies. Wade was known to many for his jokester attitude.
Wade is survived by his best friend and loving girlfriend, Starla Hiemstra; his daughters, Amanda (Chad) Wagner and Mikena Bender; grandchildren Kyleigh, Lucas Jr, Jarek, Jeremiah, Kaylee and Lilly; a great-grandchild, Charleigh; brothers Gary (Lucy) Bender; Mark (Mary) Bender; Todd (Joan) Bender; a brother-in-law Tom Henning; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends, especially Bernie Marshall.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Shirley Bender; sister, Debra Henning; grandparents, Cecil and Vera Bender, and Harley and Eva Dorsey; and a nephew, Timothy Henning.
Wade’s family is very thankful and grateful for the SSM Health care team.
Visitation for Wade will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home Ripon, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Wade will be held at 5:30 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Clyde Mansmith officiating. A memorial is being established in his name.
