Wallace Bowles

Wallace Bowles, age 92, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 18, 2025, with his family by his side. Wallace was born on February 11, 1933, to the late Philip and Delma (Copas) Bowles. He was an employee of Armour Foods for 41 years. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Hillview for many years where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Trustee. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Susan Denise; brothers, Ellis, Bill Tom, Joe and Farrell; and his sisters, Faye Daley and Bonnie Perkins.

He is survived by his spouse, Evelyn (Hammer) Bowles of 69 years; children, Greg Bowles (Kim) and Tammy Bowles Harrod; grandchildren, Chris Bowles (Sarah), Sam Bowles (Angel), Zachary Bowles, Amber Anderson (John), Mandy Grider (Sid), and Annie Silva (Josh); great-grandchildren; Kirstin, Katelyn and Kira Bowles, J.J., Camden and Riley Anderson, Sydney, Cashous, Jace, Callie, Mia and Sophia Grider, Aria and Caleb Silva and Kingsley Bowles; sisters, Wanda Sturgeon and Shirley Williams and brother, Richard Bowles.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 7:00 at Providence Baptist Church (240 Sanders Lane, Brooks, Ky.). Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00 until the time of service at the church.

Additional service will be conducted on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 at Monroe Baptist Church (330 Meshack Creek Rd., Tompkinsville, Ky.) at 2:00 Eastern Standard Time with interment in Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery, Tompkinsville, Ky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12:00 Eastern Standard Time until the time of service at the church.
