Publish in a newspaper

Wallace (Wally) Edward Clark, 83, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Conyers, Georgia. He was born on March 19, 1942, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Edward and Viola Clark, who instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and devotion to family. From an early age, his determined spirit was evident-he began delivering newspapers as a young boy in Lexington, taking pride in every job he did.
Over the years, he built a remarkable career with the Kmart Corporation, where his dedication and integrity led him through the ranks and eventually to the company's headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. His colleagues would describe him as a man of outstanding leadership-a friend who always lent a helping hand and a smile.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, he was deeply committed to his faith and community. He served faithfully as an elder at Mt. Carmel Christian Church, where he guided others with wisdom, humility, and a servant's heart. His leadership and steadfast devotion to the Lord touched countless lives and reflected his sincere desire to walk in Christ's love every day.
Beyond his professional life, he was a family man. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones, especially his granddaughters, sharing stories and laughter. His outgoing personality and genuine warmth left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Allen Clark. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Imogene Clark; his devoted son Derek Clark and daughter-in-law Kollette Clark; and his cherished granddaughters Brittany and Ashley Clark, who brought endless pride and joy to his heart. He also is survived by his brothers: Max, Eddie (Tricia), and Steve (Kay) Clark; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 at Kerr Brothers - Harrodsburg Road, with the service to follow at 2:00. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.
