PATRICK SINNOTT Wallace Patrick Sinnott, 46, resident of 2222 Highway 34 West, Ninety Six, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, July 27, 1967, he was a son of Betty Smith Sinnott and the late William Wallace "Bill" Sinnott. A graduate of Cambridge Academy, Patrick also attended Piedmont Technical College. He was formerly employed with SCDOT where he served until his health declined. Patrick was a member of Matthews Masonic Lodge #358 where he was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and York Rite Mason. He was also a member of the Hejaz Shrine Temple and formerly served as a shrine clown, helping entertain and bring lots of joy to children through his service to others. He was a Hillbilly Shriner and was dedicated to bringing attention to and raising money for the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville. Patrick was a member of the Greenwood Shrine Club where he formerly served as President in 2008. He was also a volunteer with Station 75 Highway 34 Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his father, Patrick was preceded in death by maternal grandparents James Claude, Jr. and Agnes Ouzts Smith; and paternal grandparents, William Alton and Ruth Jackson Sinnott. Surviving in addition to his mother of the home are a son, Schanen Patrick Sinnott; daughter, Ashlen Denise Sinnott; and former wife and special friend Angie Davis Sinnott Graham, all of Ninety Six. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jason Webb and Reverend Bobby Davis officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mike Morris, Chad Teague, Johnny Eustace, Tee Timmerman, Edward Carter and Terry Bullard. Honorary escort will be members of Matthews Masonic Lodge #358, members of Greenwood Shrine Club, all current and former employees of SCDOT, along with Mary Frances Coats, Greg Holiday and Walker Moore. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6-8PM and at other times at the home and also at the home of Angie Sinnott Graham, 101 Circle Street in Ninety Six. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children -Greenville 950 West Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605 or to The Juvenile Diabetes Association, c/o Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, 26 Broadway 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004. Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services is assisting the Sinnott family.
