With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Wally Stephen Graham, who departed from this world on Monday, April 1, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was 61.
Born on January 28, 1963, Wally lived a life of passion, dedication, and unwavering love for his family and his craft. He was a cherished father and devoted to all of his family.
His love affair with automobiles began at a young age, ignited by the sound of engines roaring and the smell of grease in the air. From tinkering with engines in his youth to becoming a master mechanic, cars were not just a hobby for him; they were his lifelong passion. A garage was his sanctuary, where he spent countless hours working on engines, restoring classic cars, and imparting his knowledge to anyone eager to learn.
Beyond his love for cars, Wally was a pillar of strength and support for his family. His guidance, wisdom, and unconditional love shaped the lives of those around him. Whether teaching his children how to change a tire or offering a listening ear to a friend in need, he was always there with a kind word and a helping hand.
In addition to his mechanical prowess, Wally possessed a generous spirit and a zest for life that was contagious. He cherished simple pleasures like spending time with his family and gatherings with loved ones, where stories were shared and memories were made.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Miller Graham, father: Melvin Eugene Graham, brother: Thomas Graham and sisters: Janice Albrecht and Georgia Pinyerd.
Wally is survived by his brothers Ronald Graham and Anthony Dean Graham, sister Renee Ritchey; children Latishia Julian Ptomey and husband Craig, Stephen Julian, Joseph Hamilton and wife Charly, and Angela Hamilton; grandchildren Lainey Taylor, Kalyssa Julian, Jazmine Hamilton, Hailey Hamilton, Anthony Shockley, Christian Hamilton, Jonathan Jaramillo, Brandon Hamilton; and great-grandchild Alex Jaramillo. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Though Wally may have departed from this world, his spirit will live on in the memories we hold dear and the lessons he imparted. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the life of a man who lived with passion, purpose, and profound love.
